A preventive, coaching-based programme where students build their own superhero profile - understanding their strengths, setting their inner compass and finding their direction. It strengthens self-trust and hope for the future, counters bullying and exclusion, and gives teachers and parents a concrete tool to see and support every individual. Built on hundreds of coaching sessions and proven methodology. Ready to pilot and roll out in the world of education.
School is one of the most important environments in a young person's life. It can offer safety, structure and belonging - but it can also create stress, pressure and feelings of inadequacy. Low self-trust can lead to social isolation, bullying, being drawn into destructive environments, and a loss of hope for the future. Trust in safe adults is repeatedly shown to be decisive for young people's wellbeing.
There is a clear need for preventive efforts that strengthen young people's self-trust, identity, social skills and sense of security - long before adult life makes its demands for leadership and trust. It is rarely about a lack of ability, but about a lack of self-awareness, trust and a shared language for how we function. That is exactly the gap this programme is built to fill, preventively and early.
The Hero Program is the school version of Hero Profile™: an interactive, playful and coaching-based programme where every young person builds their own superhero profile - reflecting on their strengths, their honey and kryptonite, and how they want to be met. It combines individual exercises with class and group activities, and becomes a preventive tool against bullying, social isolation, destructive environments and a loss of hope for the future. Students then share with their classmates, and it gives teachers, parents and other adults insight into young people's needs and strengths, so they can support in the best way.
Unlike personality tests such as DISC, Myers-Briggs or Big Five - static snapshots with pre-set answer options - Hero Profile™ is built on the student's own words, experiences and values. The student answers story-driven questions where each answer leads to the next, deeper question, just like a real coaching conversation. Nobody rates themselves on a scale. The result is not a test score, but a personal profile that actually lasts and can be used in everyday life.
A conversation that step by step captures a full picture of the student, where each part builds on the one before. The language is superhero-themed - concrete, playful and easy to take in, even for those who find it hard to talk about themselves.
The eight building blocks
Compass and values - what genuinely steers your choices, priorities and boundaries.
Superpower - your strengths and how they show up in everyday life.
Kryptonite - situations that drain your energy, and what you need.
Honey - what gives energy and engagement, and where you flourish.
Robin - the support and strategies that help you succeed.
Joker - patterns that sometimes stand in the way of your potential.
Communication - how you take in information, decide and are best reached.
Leadership - how you're best led, and how you lead others.
A clear structure that blends individual reflection with class and group activities. Playful, concrete and adapted by age (10-12, 13-15 and 16-19), with extra care for neurodivergent students - the focus is always on strengths over shortcomings.
How we work - method and pedagogy
Trust is not a nice word on a wall. It starts with the individual student, grows in the classroom and is carried by the school as a whole. Same core, increasing value at every level.
The best way into a school runs through the teachers themselves. When a teacher has made their own Hero Profile, they understand the tool from the inside - for real, not just in theory. They then meet every student better, see their own strengths and communication style, and become the ones who carry the method forward in the classroom. It is also a concrete wellbeing and workload tool for a profession that carries a lot. The students come in the next step.
The programme is built on proven methods within coaching and personal development. The effects show up in three places at once - and are followed up measurably through surveys and reflection questions before and after, on self-trust, wellbeing and engagement.
The more technology takes over, the more decisive self-trust, communication, relationships and judgement become - the things that cannot be automated. A generation that understands itself stands more firmly in a fast-changing world. And Hero Profile™ becomes, at the same time, a data core for AI support that actually understands the individual: an assistant that knows how a student communicates and learns best can adapt everything - from how a task is explained to how feedback is phrased. Tailored from the ground up, not after the fact. What is built now is the foundation for what comes next.
A clear, phased approach that can start small and grow with proven effect. Each phase produces concrete evidence ahead of the next decision.
Kick-off with school leadership and the authority. We define goals, target group and how effect will be tracked. We anchor purpose, privacy and roles. Outcome: a shared basis for decision and a clear frame for the pilot.
The teaching staff make their own Hero Profiles. The staff get to know the method from the inside and build a shared language. Outcome: confident facilitators and a team that has experienced the value themselves before students are involved.
One or more classes go through the programme. Every student gets their profile, the class gets its map, and we measure self-trust, wellbeing and engagement with surveys before and after. Outcome: concrete student profiles, a class map and first proof of effect in this particular environment.
Follow-up and learning. We evaluate wellbeing, experience and effect together with the school and student welfare, and adjust the approach. Outcome: documented evidence for a decision on wider adoption.
Wider roll-out. The programme becomes part of the ordinary, preventive work - more classes, more schools, with a dashboard and support for follow-up over time. From project to standard.
A complete package that is easy to introduce, building on Trust Your Talent's existing, proven programmes. It means a school can start right away and grow into the digital version when it's ready.
The method is built on a simple insight from hundreds of coaching sessions: most people don't know what they're good at - because nobody has asked in the right way. We dig until we find the real answer beneath the surface. Not the surface answer. The real one.
Want to pilot with a school, explore a partnership, or run it as a project in your municipality or region? Get in touch - and we'll have a conversation about how it could look for you.
This section is for those who want to understand how the method actually works beneath the surface - how a conversation becomes a profile, how the profile is used, and how effect is measured in a way that is ethical and transparent. It is the same methodology behind the whole programme, described here in more depth. You can send the pitch above as it is, and follow up with this part when the questions get more detailed.
Insight grows out of stories - never the other way around. The student tells; we read the pattern. Nobody rates themselves on a scale, and nobody gets a ready-made statement about who they are.
We never stop at the surface word. "Family matters most" can mean safety, belonging, being needed or meaning. We dig until we reach the real answer beneath the surface.
Everything we derive is material to test - not a verdict. An interpretation is confirmed only when the student recognises themselves in their own words.
The student's own language is never translated away. The headings in the profile are the student's own, not generic labels. Recognition first, analysis second.
The conversation follows the student's stories and digs deeper step by step. From the material we read the canonical parts, in order: opening, compass (the core values), superpower, kryptonite, honey, Robin, Joker, communication and leadership. The superpower is always described by what it leads to for others, not as a label on the person. Kryptonite is described as a strength out of balance and always points to a need that hasn't been met - we name the need, not a failure. The communication part lands in concrete sentences ("I perform best when I know why, get time to think and can ask questions before deciding"), and the leadership part in a simple user's manual: "how I'm best led". The profile is always written to the student, in the second person, in connected paragraphs - warm, honest and clear.
When several students' profiles are laid side by side, a picture of the group emerges. Each student's compass is mapped - alongside the student's own words - to a shared vocabulary, so you can see which strengths and drivers exist in the class and which are missing. You can also see where two students complement each other and where friction easily arises. For the teacher it becomes a basis for forming groups that work, adapting teaching and understanding the dynamics in the room - not to rank students, but to meet each one better.
The programme does not measure personality. It measures understanding, development and safety - to create clarity for decisions and unlock capacity. All measurement is built on semantic analysis of the student's own words, never on scales or multiple-choice questions. There are only two valid comparisons: the student's development against their own earlier picture over time, and the match between individual, group and environment. No ranking, no norming against "right or wrong", no comparison between classmates.
| Dimension | What it captures | Value in school |
|---|---|---|
| Inner compass | Values, meaning, decision logic | Direction and security in choices |
| Drivers | What gives and drains energy | Sustainable motivation, early signals |
| Superpowers | Natural strengths and learning style | Adapted teaching, self-trust |
| Communication | How information and feedback land | Fewer misunderstandings, better meetings |
| Interplay | Group roles and climate needs | A calmer learning environment and belonging |
The individual owns their own content. Sharing is voluntary and happens per data point - nothing is passed on automatically. Data is handled under GDPR, stored minimally and can be deleted.
Cognitive patterns often associated with neurodivergence are described as strength and need - never as clinical assessment. The tool makes no diagnoses and does not replace student welfare; it complements it.
Results can always be traced back to the source material - never a black box. The ethics are built into the method, not added on afterwards.
Every insight must be able to answer: what do we see, why, and what do we do about it concretely? It is decision support and development - never a grade on a human being.
The digital version (in development) is a standalone web application built with standard technology. It runs in the browser without installation or special infrastructure and works on computer, tablet and phone. The analysis is driven by a language model that interprets free-text answers and generates individual insights, with transparent logic. The solution is built on open formats without licence lock-in - content and results can be exported freely - and works just as well for a single class as for a whole municipality. Until then, the programme is delivered facilitator-led, so a school can start right away.
